Lead Associate – Employment Group

Nicholas represents employees and employers in all aspects of employment and labour law, including wrongful dismissal, representation before courts and tribunals, collective agreement negotiations, arbitrations, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and human rights.

Nicholas also advises employers on human resources management matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, and workplace investigations.

He is the author of a number of articles in various labour and employment publications, including his law blog, goldhawklaw.com. He is a regular speaker on labour and employment law matters

Education:

Nicholas holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University. Prior to attending Law School, Nicholas worked as an investigative journalist for a nationally televised current affairs program.
