Tino provides labour and employment advice and representation, with a special focus on construction labour law. He prides himself on his passion for workplace law, his dedication to clients and his willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve the best results.
Tino gained a wealth of experience while working at a nationally recognized management-side labour and employment law firm, where he was exposed to the various facets of workplace law from both a unionized and non-unionized perspective. He has engaged in arbitrations centered around significant issues within the construction industry, including certification applications, collective bargaining, unfair labour practice complaints, and the application of different collective agreements. He has also conducted employee screening for different employers and participated in workplace training.
Tino has an excellent understanding of workplace law. He advises both employers and employees in matters involving human rights issues, claims of harassment and wrongful dismissal. Tino focuses upon the human element of legal matters, and places himself in the client’s shoes when providing legal advice.
In his free time, Tino enjoys sports and collecting vinyl records.
Tino earned his J.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, he obtained an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto.
